Throughout the year, a variety of events take place in the Hall-Wattens region. Locals and guests alike enjoy the culinary, sporting and cultural events. You can get an overview of all current events here.

In spring

Lamatrekking

Lama dad Hans will first introduce you to his Lama family. During the hike you can then experience the hiking companions up close and learn a lot about the animals.

Into the flower paradies to Issanger

From the Halltal entrance to St. Magdalena you can comfortably get with a shuttle service. Along the picturesque Halltal stream you hike along a wildly romantic path through Austria´s largest nature park. The route leads you to the Issboden, which is known for its diverse flora.

Wild herbs with all senses

Which wild herbs do we know? Which are poisonous? What different effects do they have?
Every Tuesday you can enjoy wild herbs with all your senses and then try them in a dip on fresh farmhouse bread.

Archie „The Guitar King“

Every Tuesday, Archie ‘The Guitar King’ creates a relaxed atmosphere on our sun terrace with melodic sounds on balmy summer evenings.

When: Every Tuesday (23.06. to 08.09.2026) weather permitting from 7:00 pm

Klangstadt Hall in Tirol - City of Sound

Every year, Hall’s old town invites visitors to enjoy a special musical experience: from traditional Alpine folk music to modern interpretations, a varied programme awaits visitors. In the town’s outdoor dining areas, numerous ensembles provide atmospheric music and a convivial atmosphere.

When: Saturday, 18th July 2026 from 18:00 until 22:00

Hall Pottery Market

Once a year, Hall in Tirol becomes a hub for ceramics and pottery from Austria and abroad. Around 30 ceramic artists showcase their handcrafted works on Bachlechnerstraße, offering an insight into one of the world’s oldest crafts. Hall’s historic old town provides the perfect backdrop for the event.

When: Friday, 21st August until Sunday, 23rd August 2026 from 9:00 to 18:00

Thaur Castle Theatre: “Jedermann”

Against the impressive backdrop of the Thaur Castle ruins, the Thaur Castle Theatre will be staging Hugo von Hofmannsthal’s classic “Jedermann” on the open-air stage in the summer of 2026. This time-honoured production creates a very special atmosphere under the open sky and promises an unforgettable evening of theatre in a historic setting.

When: Friday, 28th August 2026 to Friday, 28th September 2026 from 20:30 (every Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

In autumn

Organic Mountain Farmers’ Festival

Regional organic produce, authentic craftsmanship and personal conversations with Tyrolean producers: at the Organic Mountain Farmers’ Festival in Hall, organic farmers showcase their high-quality food and offer insights into their work. A delightful market with a sustainable ethos. Organised by the BIO AUSTRIA Tyrol association, the Tyrolean organic brand BIO vom BERG and Hall in Tirol City Marketing, the event is held as a Green Event.

When: Saturday, 12th September 2026 from 10:00 a.m.

Late-Night Shopping

You can browse until late in the evening while shopping in Hall's old town. Hall's retailers look forward to welcoming you on this evening and will keep their shops and businesses open until 11 p.m.

Farmers market in Hall

After the harvest, the farmers of the Farmers market Hall on the Upper Town Square in Hall present their seasonal produce and delicacies from the region. They offer favourable promotions on potatoes, apples and much more.

When: every Saturday from 9 am until 1 pm

City tour: Journey to the Mididle Ages

During the 1-hour walk through Hall, you will discover charming squares, winding alleys and the sights of Tyrol's largest old town.

Themed tour: Money rules the world

This exciting tour takes you to the Münzturm, the landmark of Hall, and to the permanent exhibition in the museum in Hasegg Castle. Here you will learn all about the history of Hall as a royal mint shape place.

Mining tour: In the beginning was the salt

At the Hall Mining Museum, housed in the historic Fürstenhaus Ferdinand II, visitors can experience the everyday life of a real miner up close and immerse themselves in the fascinating 700-year history of mining in Hall. An exciting experience for the whole family!

City tour: Hall with all your senses

On this tour through highlights such as Hasegg Castle, the Upper Town Square with the town hall, the parish church of St. Nicholas and the Magdalena Chapel, the tour ends with a taste of Haller Törtchen (Hall tartlet) and a refreshing drink. Discover Hall with all your senses - a treat for the eyes, ears, nose, hands and palate!
