Throughout the year, a variety of events take place in the Hall-Wattens region. Locals and guests alike enjoy the culinary, sporting and cultural events. You can get an overview of all current events here.

In winter

Guided hike - With snowshoes through the white splendour

Every Tuesday you can take part in a guided snowshoe hike in the region. With the guest card you even get a discount on the price. A highlight during the hike is the panoramic view of the Karwendel and the Inn Valley.

Lama trekking in winter

On a guided hike with particularly cuddly companions, you can enjoy a leisurely walk on the Wattenberg and enjoy a spectacular view of the Inn Valley.

In spring

Easter Market Hall

At the Haller Easter Market, stallholders offer lovingly designed Easter baskets, candles, artistically decorated eggs and a wide range of Easter decorations. The range is complemented by regional delicacies and traditional Easter specialities straight from the confectioner. There are also plenty of fun and creative games to keep younger visitors entertained. Parallel to the market, the unique exhibition ‘Kunst am Ei’ (Art on Eggs) will take place in the Baroque Town Hall, where 12 international egg artists will present their works of art.

Easter brunch

On Easter Monday, our annual Easter brunch will once again take place in a cosy atmosphere. This enjoyable day will once again be accompanied by the band "Dixie Brass Tyrol".

Haller Radieschenfest

The area around the towns of Thaur and Absam is often referred to as Austria's largest vegetable garden. 60% of all radishes grown in Austria and many other types of vegetables are grown here. The harvest is celebrated at the annual radish festival in the old town of Hall with music, local delicacies and, of course, radishes.

Haller Nightseeing

During ‘Haller Nightseeing’, Hall's city centre is transformed into a lively stage for art, culture and music. The historic streets fill with life and create a special evening atmosphere.

Free guided tours offer insights into selected sights that are only accessible on this evening. At Stiftsplatz, a night market with arts and crafts and homemade goods invites visitors to linger, while shops and restaurants in the old town remain open with live music and a varied programme of events.

In autumn

Late-Night Shopping

You can browse until late in the evening while shopping in Hall's old town. Hall's retailers look forward to welcoming you on this evening and will keep their shops and businesses open until 11 p.m.

All year round

Farmers market in Hall

After the harvest, the farmers of the Farmers market Hall on the Upper Town Square in Hall present their seasonal produce and delicacies from the region. They offer favourable promotions on potatoes, apples and much more.

When: every Saturday from 9 am until 1 pm

City tour: Journey to the Mididle Ages

During the 1-hour walk through Hall, you will discover charming squares, winding alleys and the sights of Tyrol's largest old town.

Themed tour: Money rules the world

This exciting tour takes you to the Münzturm, the landmark of Hall, and to the permanent exhibition in the museum in Hasegg Castle. Here you will learn all about the history of Hall as a royal mint shape place.

Mining tour: In the beginning was the salt

At the Hall Mining Museum, housed in the historic Fürstenhaus Ferdinand II, visitors can experience the everyday life of a real miner up close and immerse themselves in the fascinating 700-year history of mining in Hall. An exciting experience for the whole family!

City tour: Hall with all your senses

On this tour through highlights such as Hasegg Castle, the Upper Town Square with the town hall, the parish church of St. Nicholas and the Magdalena Chapel, the tour ends with a taste of Haller Törtchen (Hall tartlet) and a refreshing drink. Discover Hall with all your senses - a treat for the eyes, ears, nose, hands and palate!
